This Extruder Purging and Nozzle Cleaning Station is used to prime and clean the extruder nozzle before starting a print. A primed extruder and clean nozzle ensure a successful first layer and print. The stainless steel pail catches the purged plastic, and the brush is used to clean the tip of the nozzle and the edges before the print commences.

The pail and brush are removable and replaceable. The support stand is made from a heavy gauge aluminum sheet and can be mounted in various locations depending on the printer setup.
